Jeanne Kranich

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Kranich on Friday, June 26th, 2026 while in the hospital.

Born May 21, 1958 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Lucina (Brunt) Kranich.

Jeanne graduated from Norristown Area High School in 1979 and resided with her parents until her admission to Indian Creek Foundation in 2006. She was admitted to our Perk Rd – ICF/IDD on February 10, 2006 and moved to the Barley CLA on February 4, 2014 where she most recently resided with 2 housemates. Jeanne attended the Indian Creek day program from 2006 until 2015.

Survivors include her two older brothers. Jeanne was especially close to her brother, Fred, who fondly recalls rough housing with Jeanne when he visited. She loved music, water activities, and getting her hair/nails done.

Jeanne was a cherished member of our Indian Creek Foundation family for over 20 years, and she will always be remembered for her feisty personality and her fighting spirit. Jeanne will be dearly missed.

The Memorial Service will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the Indian Creek Foundation Gym, 420 Cowpath Road, Souderton. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
