Jennie T. Barbarito

Jennie T. Barbarito, 102, of Lansdale, PA, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Morningside House of Towamencin.

She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Barbarito.

Born December 26, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Adino and Assunta Giaccaglia.

Throughout her life, Jennie took great pride in keeping her home neat and tidy.  Creating a clean and organized space brought her a sense of peace and well-being.  She also took pleasure in taking daily walks whenever she could.

What brought Jennie the most joy in life was her family.  She would play Yahtzee with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cared for deeply.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that was compassionate and strong-willed.

Jennie is survived by her son, Clifford Barbarito (Phyllis) of Geneseo, NY; her daughter, Susan Gensch (Michael) of Lansdale, PA; her grandchildren, Aranka, Adino (Margarita), Jamie, and Michael Jr. (Sammie); and her great-grandchildren, Rye, Raymond, Peighton, Joss and Billie.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Severino and Rudy.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
