Joan Guinther Candy, 94, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Harleysville, died Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was the wife of Vernon Candy, of Elizabethtown, and the late John "Jack" Guinther.
Born October 30, 1931 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late John and Bernice (Wambold) Frable.
Joan was a longtime member of Sanctuary United Methodist Church, North Wales. She was employed as a receptionist for many years and, earlier in life, was an active member of the Heritage Chapter of the Questers, Lansdale.
Additional survivors include her daughter, Kerri K. Johnson (R. Steven) of North Wales, and Kyle D. Neumeyer (Maria) of Lansdale; four grandchildren, Ryan Johnson (Alison) of Souderton, Nicole Glase (Andrew) of Lansdale, Kelsey Winokur (Joshua) of Harleysville, and Jamie Valdez (Reed) of Valdosta, GA; and six great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Everlee, Cameron, Hudson, Micah, and Kevin.
Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Sanctuary United Methodist Church, 1346 E. Prospect Avenue, North Wales, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
