Joan R. Harris

Joan R. Harris, 91, of Warminster, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. She was the cherished wife of the late James Harris.

Born April 12, 1931 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Elizabeth (Staton) Dobson.

Joan was an active member of the Red Hats Society. She was also enthusiastically involved in the activities at Ann's Choice Senior Living Community. Going to the beach was a favorite time for Joan, as well as spending time at their Florida home.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Ernest) Sarao of Lansdale; grandchildren, Karen Saft and Jonathan Boehmke; her great-grandchildren, Blake, Grayson, Jacob, and Colin; and her sister, Phyllis Krause.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Wilbur. and her sister, Eleanor Johnston.

Relatives and friends may call between 10:00 AM and 10:45 AM Friday, February 3, 2023 at Nativity of our Lord Church, 605 West Street, Warminster, PA 18974, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
