Joan Marie Seyler, 86, of North Wales, PA, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Jefferson Lansdale Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late John Seyler.
Joan was very close with all her siblings Jimmy, Peggy, Marie and is survived by her twin brother Jerry of Lewisburg, TN. She had an exceptionally close bond with Jerry and described him as the "best brother one could hope for."
Born December 5, 1938, she was a daughter of the late James and Marie (Darragh) Stoltz.
Joan started her working career right out of high school in the secretarial department at Philadelphia National Bank. There she met Betty Milak, and they became friends. Betty introduced Joan to her brother Steve, and they married shortly after. Joan's children were the center of her world, and she chose to stay home to raise them. In later years, when faced with adversity, she went back to work to support her family. Joan worked as an administrative assistant in the real estate firm of Kenneth Kratz in Lansdale PA. Joan was big on Music and always had records on throughout the days and evenings. She also had a love for Holidays and decorated in a big way for both Christmas and especially Halloween being the only house on the block to treat the kids to a haunted house. This tradition stays with her children to this day! Joan was a loving mother, grandmother (Geema) and great grandmother. Her laugh was contagious and overall sense of humor second to none. She will be missed dearly and meant the world to all of us.
She is survived by her daughter, Emily Frost; her son, Stephen Milak (Wife Lisa); her grandchildren, Jesse, Addie, Riley, Stephen, Nathan, and Noah; and her great- grandchildren, Mason, and Lucian.
