John W. Cordes, Sr.

John W. Cordes, Sr., 92, of North Wales, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025.  He was the beloved husband of the late Florence (Hay) Cordes, who died September 17, 2003.

Born March 6, 1932 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Robert and Martha Cordes.

Mr. Cordes was a longtime member of Jarrettown United Methodist Church, Dresher.  He was employed in the construction industry for many years and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his children, Rev. John W. Cordes, Jr. (Janice) of Bethlehem, Glenn A. Cordes of North Wales, Lynne Domeracki (Ron) of Quakertown, and Lisa G. Cordes of North Wales.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Cordes and Richard Cordes.

The Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 at Jarrettown United Methodist Church, 1460 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
