John P. Gall

John Philip Gall, 90, of Lansdale, PA, passed away from natural causes on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Doylestown Hospital. He was the loving husband of Maria J. (Denver) Gall.

Born July 11, 1935, he was the oldest son of the late Leonard F. and Anna E. (Yonson) Gall.  John honorably served his country in the United States Army as a Morse code operator.  He was a member of Corpus Christi Church of Lansdale where he was a lector for many years, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a founding member of the Charismatic Movement. He was also a founding member of the North Penn Chess Club where he served as club president for several terms.

John worked as a Physical Distribution Manager at Unisys for almost 20 years before retiring, then as a bus driver for North Penn School District for 10 years, and during the same timeframes as an independent distributor for Shaklee health and nutrition products. John enjoyed staying active, spending time outdoors, gardening, and flower arranging. He ran close to 20 marathons and through-hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine within a single season.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children, John "Robin" P. Gall, Jr. (Beverly), Mark S. Gall (Vallery) and Cheryl A. Donahue (Jack); his grandchildren, Linette (Wayne), Dimia (Zachary), Dante (Emma), Daniel (Jessica), Jack, Samuel, Quinn, Jay, Siannan (Hernan), Bethany, and Delaney (Nadira); his great-grandchildren, David, Keira, Piper, James, Miranda, Zachary, Gabriel, Daylin, Torrin, and Elio; and his brother, Joseph (Edith).

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Christine M. Egitto; and his siblings, Leonard, Constance, Phyllis, and David.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 - 10:45 AM at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446.  A memorial mass will begin at 11:00 AM.
