Obituary

John William “Jack” Jamison, 98, husband of Dolores (Costello) Jamison, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at New Seasons at New Britain.

Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John A. and Elsie (Forderer) Jamison.

John was a WWII US Army veteran. He was an active member for 12 years with the US Tennis Association and member of the Keystone Radio Control (KRC) at Mascaro Field where he was an avid remote controlled airplane operator. John was a structural engineer and worked at United Engineers and Constructors and finished his long career at Day and Zimmerman, both in Center City

Surviving with his wife are children Bruce J. Jamison, Carol Schmidt, wife of Ray, Diane McIntyre, wife of Aaron, and Lynn Drahus, wife of John; brothers Thomas Jamison, James Jamison; grandchildren, Lisa McLaughlin, wife of Shane, Stephen Schmidt, Victoria Mika, wife of Jonathan, Vanessa Drahus, Ethan McIntyre; and his great-grandchildren, Ava McLaughlin, Emma McLaughlin, and Hannah McLaughlin.  Along with his parents he is predeceased by his sister Joan Sammartino and Kathleen Schiavo; and brother Norbert Jamison.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for John on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Hudson Retirement Community, 651 Montgomery Glen Drive, Lansdale, PA. 

Arrangements are by Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, PA.
