John T. Mccreery

John T. McCreery, 90, of Lansdale, PA, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at Bryn Mawr Extended Care.

He was the loving husband of Margaret (Winterer) McCreery.  Together, they raised their family in Mayfair and Somerton.

Born November 7, 1935, he was a son of the late George and Anna (Robinson) McCreery.

John honorably served his community as a police officer in the city of Philadelphia for 26 years where he achieved the rank of Staff Inspector.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed reading his favorite books, researching civil war history, Irish dancing, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons, John McCreery, and wife Joanne, Kevin McCreery, and wife Debby, and Michael McCreery, and wife Linda; his daughter Jeanne McCreery; his grandchildren, Sean, Colin, Danielle, Michael, and Johnny; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Catherine, Liam, Albert, Norah, Declan, Lily, Sofia, Jaxon, Wesley, and Tessa Rae.

He is preceded in death by his brother George.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
