John L. Ripley, Jr.

John L. Ripley, Jr., 86, of Lansdale and formerly of Glenside, died Wednesday, June 18, 2025.  He was the beloved husband of Dana (Keene) Ripley, his wife of 64 years.

Born October 28, 1938 in Abington, he was a son of the late John and Myrtle (Nusbickel) Ripley.

Mr. Ripley founded Inter-County Agency, Inc. in 1967, which he proudly owned and operated until the age of 80.  Throughout his career, he was a top producer for many insurance companies.

Earlier in life, he was active with the Glenside Chamber of Commerce and served on the board of the Eastern Montgomery Chamber of Commerce.  A car aficionado, Jack started the Glenside car show and loved Ford Mustangs, especially his 1966 Mustang.

Jack proudly served in the US Army's 28th Infantry Division for six years and loved sharing his military experience each Veterans Day at his daughter's school.  He was also an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, Lansdale.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Beth Cornillot of Phoenixville, John A. Ripley (Lisa) of New York, NY, and Jill L. Rosenfeld (Gary) of Flourtown; six grandchildren, Shawn (Sydney), Tyler, Julia, Anna, Noah (Brenna), and Gabriel; and his brother, Fred Ripley (Judy) of Phoenixville, PA.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Christ United Methodist Church, 1020 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be private.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
