Josephine Ann Baccaro

With heavy hearts, the family of Josephine Ann Baccaro (Alba) announces her passing on Wednesday, June 4th, at the age of 83. Josie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, known for her sharp wit, exceptional cooking, and passion for shopping.

Born on April 11, 1942, in Norristown, PA, Josie was the daughter of the late Harry and Josephine (DeAngelis) Alba. She graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in 1960. Josie loved decorating her home, attending family game nights, spending time with her granddaughters, and most of all, hanging out with her dog Jake.

Josie shared over 63 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Ronald Baccaro. She is survived by her daughters Robin McGinn (Christopher Bohmueller) and Wendy Edelman (Robert Pascucci); her granddaughters Devon McGinn, Madison Edelman, and Emmalie Edelman; and her sisters Marie Derrickson (Rick), Sharon Kohut, and Jane Korkus (Mike). She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Hammond and Diane Mancini (Richard), along with many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Joanne Franzone (Louie), and her son-in-law, Michael McGinn.

We will cherish the memories of Josie forever. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Doylestown Health Hospice.

The family will receive friends starting 9:00 am Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, with Celebration of Life Services at 10:30 am. Burial will be private.
