Judith M. Lechwar

Judith Marjorie (Fredholm) Lechwar, 79, of Lansdale, PA passed away at Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington, PA on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Judi was born July 21, 1944 in Waukegan, IL, to the late George & Sylvia (Dahl) Fredholm.

Judi graduated from Mundelein High School in 1962. As a military wife, Judi traveled and lived in many exciting places, including Germany and England. After raising her son, Rodney, Judi continued her education at Rose State College in Midwest, OK. She graduated with her Nursing license and worked in the hospital in Oklahoma City. She moved to PA in 2010, and worked as a nurse at Gwynedd Square Nursing Home, until her retirement in 2012.

Judi loved her family, friends, and everyone she met. She was so excited to be a great grandmother. She also had a special affection for animals, especially cats.

Judi is survived by her son, Rodney (Karla) Lechwar of Guthrie, OK; her grandchildren, Michaela (Ryan) Blackwell and Joseph (Jennifer) Lechwar; a great grandson, Dewayne James Blackwell; her sister Jean (Stafford) Keer, sister-in-law Judy Fredholm; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents George & Sylvia (Dahl) Fredholm, brother, George R Fredholm II, sister Beth (George) Babbitt.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for the family.
