June Reinhardt Huebner, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Meadowood Senior Living in Lansdale.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Violet Wallace Reinhardt.
Beloved wife of the late Leon F. Huebner, June is survived by her son Erik L. Huebner, husband of Brooke; granddaughters Erin and Brigid Huebner; nephews David and Richard Huebner; and treasured friend and Brooke's mother Carolyn Laumer. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Lisa June Huebner.
June attended Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, followed by receiving her undergraduate and Masters degrees in elementary education from the University of Pennsylvania. She was a proud sister in the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
Retired Director of Personnel for Cheltenham School District, June was a career educator, cherishing her roles as a reading specialist and teacher of early learners. She was dedicated to serving students, families, and her colleagues.
June and her husband loved to travel, collecting cherished mementos on each of the seven continents. They were especially passionate about supporting church, conservation, and education organizations with their time, talents, and resources.
Breakfast and a service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 9:30 AM in Hyson Hall of Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 West Main Street, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June's name to the North Penn School District Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 1084, Lansdale, PA 19446.
