Kathleen M. Hawley, 72, of Hatfield, died peacefully Monday, November 23, 2015 surrounded by family. She was the wife of John T. Hawley, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage.
Born March 18, 1943 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Delaney) McCarthy.
For many years, Kathleen was employed by Nyce Tolley, & Lorenzo Dental Office in Lansdale. She was a volunteer for the Aquatic Angels Brigade at the Hatfield Aquatic Center; and with her husband, she volunteered for the Children's Aid Society. Kathleen was an avid reader, and also enjoyed creating scrapbooks for her grandchildren of all their family photos. She loved trips to the New Jersey Shore and the Pocono Mountains.
In addition to her husband, surviving are children, Richard Weise (Anne-Marie) of Stroudsburg, Kelly Weise of Hatfield, Keith Hawley (Jennifer) of Bedminster, and Colleen Fuente (John) of Salford; five grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Jack, Max, and Hannah; and brother, Thomas McCarthy of Souderton.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Services are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 305 South 13th St., Philadelphia, PA 19107.
