Kenneth Lies

Kenneth (Kenny) Lies, 72, of Hatfield, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Born on August 13, 1952, Kenny was the son of the late Bennie and Wilhelmina (Crawford) Lies. He is survived by his brothers, Bernard Lies and Steven Lies, as well as extended family, cherished coworkers, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his siblings, Benjamin, Arthur, Ricky, Anthony, and Yvonne.

Kenny grew up in Harlem and went on to earn his master's degree from Pratt University. He built a successful career as a Senior Applications Programmer at General Electric before retiring from Colorcon after 30 years in 2018. In retirement, he found joy in early morning walks at Peace Valley Park and exploring the country on road trips.

A kind and generous soul, Kenny left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures—red wine, mystery novels, audiobooks, soul food, and a home-cooked meal. His warmth, laughter, and signature smile will be deeply missed.

Kenny's memory will live on in the many stories we share about him.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. Weather permitting, those who wish may join in a short walk at Peace Valley Park immediately after the service in honor of Kenny's love for the outdoors.
