Ketki U. Nanavati

June 19, 1947 — May 11, 2025

Ketki U. Nanavati, 77, of Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Born in June 1947, in Mumbai, India, she was the daughter of the late Ranjitlal and Sulochana Thanawala, and the beloved wife of the late Umesh Nanavati.

Ketki was a proud "city girl from Bombay" who brought her strength, sparkle, and spirit wherever she went. After moving to the United States, she made Philadelphia her home—cheering on the Eagles and Phillies every season and helping extended family members find their footing in a new country with open arms and unconditional support.

She worked for more than 35 years as a quality inspector at a label manufacturing company—a testament to the strong work ethic she and her husband lived by and passed on to their children.

Ketki was deeply devoted to family and friends, always putting loved ones first. She was compassionate, fun-loving, and fiercely independent. She found joy in the little things—gardening, listening to Indian devotional songs on YouTube, and staying curious and full of quiet wonder.

She is survived by her children: Dipali and her husband, Nilesh; Sushil and his wife, Kaushal; her beloved grandchildren, Divya, Ravi, and Kira; and many relatives and close friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and strength.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446.

Ketki will be remembered for her warmth, adventurous and outgoing nature, and deep love for family and those around her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
