Kevin Anthony Collins, 67, of Collegeville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 12, 2021
Born January 18, 1954, he was the son of the late Thomas G. Collins Sr. And Mildred (Fritz) Collins.
Kevin was a retired correctional officer, who worked for the PA Department of Corrections in various roles during his lengthy career. During his tenure, he achieved the difficult and arduous certification of a CERT Team Member . Kevin was an accomplished trombonist, and attended The Settlement School; a school for advanced musicians. He was an avid, lifelong baseball fan, and earned his way into minor league baseball as a shortstop. As an animal lover at heart, he had a genuine love for the boxer breed of dog, and was a proponent of placing shelter boxers in proper homes.
Kevin is survived by his wife, LeAnn, daughters Sarah (John), Erin (Michael), and Courtney (Greg) and his son Sean. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Nicholas, Adam, Rauri, Kieran, Ayva, Silas, Nora, Isaac and Ryleigh. Additionally, Kevin is survived by his brother, Thomas G. (the late Jaqueline)
In addition to his parents, Kevin is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Ann, and his brother, Dennis.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 16, 2021 at the family home from 11:00am - 1:00pm, and at 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Burial will be private.
