Please read the family remembrance below:
May 17th; This morning, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer, my dad found his peace. In just a couple of weeks, on June 1st, he would have celebrated his 81st birthday. While our hearts are heavy with his absence, they are also incredibly full of the immense love and light he left behind. My dad was the most kind, gentle soul. He was a man who didn't just talk about goodness; he lived it. He showed us what unconditional love truly means. From him, we learned to find the good in everything and everyone, no matter the circumstances.
He had a sweet smile that could disarm a room and lift your spirits instantly. Dad was the kind of person who would do just about anything for almost anyone, never expecting anything in return. He just wanted to help.
Over the last three years, as he fought his illness, we watched him handle the hardest days with a quiet, fierce grace. I am so profoundly grateful that his grandkids were able to witness, firsthand, what true strength and perseverance look like. He taught them lessons in resilience that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Dad, you will be so deeply missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know you. You were our rock, our teacher, and our constant reminder of the good in this world.
Rest easy now. You are our angel. We love you.
