Linda J. Hansen, 76, passed away peacefully at her home in Lansdale, surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 15, 2024. She was the loving wife of 53 years to Thomas J. Hansen.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John "Jack" Marshall Sr., and Dorothy Mae Fretz Marshall.
Family was everything to Linda. She was happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her love for life and family was so strong that not even a 10 year battle with Ovarian Cancer could prevent her from being a fixture at her grandchildren's events. She always put everyone else first above herself. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, whether it was cheering them on at sporting events, or supporting them during performances and other activities. She loved music and dancing, especially when she was country line dancing with her husband, which they enjoyed doing together for over 30 years. She loved time at the beach, traveling to Ireland, birthday celebrations, Sunday dinners, and holiday traditions with her family.
Linda was a member of the Ladies of St. Jude for many years. She loved working with children as a Nanny and for over 20 years she worked in the children's department at Sears until her retirement.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her three daughters, Laurie DiDonato (husband Tony), Krista Santone (husband Joe), Elizabeth Hansen; grandchildren, Nick DiDonato, Joey Santone, Emily Santone, Annagrace Mustico, Avalynn Mustico; stepmother Pat Marshall; step brother Ray Lagomarsino (wife Diane); step sister Judy Paxton(husband Danny); sister in law Kathy Marshall; nephew Richard Hines; niece Holly Marshall; along with many more beloved family members and friends whom she dearly loved.
Along with her parents, Linda is predeceased by her grandson, Anthony Thomas DiDonato, and brother Jack Marshall, Jr.
