Linda Kay Pearson, 79, of Lansdale and formerly of Lansing, MI died Saturday, January 3, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Peary A. Pearson, her husband of 57 years.
Born October 25, 1946 in Lansing, MI, she was a daughter of the late James and Marjorie (Webster) Yanz.
Mrs. Pearson was a graduate of the University of Michigan and worked as a Latin and French teacher at Lansing Eastern (MI) High School for many years. Her hobbies included knitting, baking, reading and playing Scrabble.
Linda was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lansdale, and, previously, St. Martha Catholic Church, Okemos, MI.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Matthew A. Pearson (Kara) of Lansdale, Brad A. Pearson (Lydia) of Wayne, and Todd A. Pearson (Tammy) of Taft, TN; seven grandchildren; two brothers, James Yanz (Elaine) of Dansville, MI and Jerry Yanz (Marcia) of Minnesota; and her sister, Mary Amundsen (late Mil) of Okemos, MI.
Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
