Linda E. Witmer

Linda E. Witmer, 78, of Lansdale, died Monday, January 20, 2025.  She was the beloved wife of J. Robert Witmer, her husband of 55 years.

Born September 6, 1946 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty (Kellenberger) Esbenshade.

Mrs. Witmer was a longtime, dedicated member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Harleysville.  She was employed with North Penn School District for many years, retiring as a receptionist at North Penn High School in 2012.

Linda enjoyed knitting and will be remembered for her selfless dedication to her family.  She also loved hosting family gatherings and vacationing at the beach with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Robert Matthew Witmer (Caron) of Hatfield, and Martin Alan Witmer (Lauren) of Collegeville; three grandchildren, Adeline, Dylan, and Madison Witmer; and her brother, Robert Esbenshade (Jennifer) of Lancaster.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2025 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 310 Covenant Lane, Harleysville, PA 19438, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday at Goodville Mennonite Cemetery, Goodville, PA.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
