Lisa Ann Flaherty (née Grucella)
June 19, 1959 – July 9, 2025

Lisa Ann Flaherty, 66, of North Wales, PA, passed away suddenly on July 9, 2025, due to complications from prior health battles. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Lisa leaves behind a legacy of strength, creativity, and deep unconditional love.

Born on June 19, 1959, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Lisa was the second of six children and the eldest daughter of Anne Haines and Raymond Grucella. She is preceded in death by her parents and baby sister, Michelle-Leigh.

Lisa was a force of nature from an early age, with a wild imagination, a love for horses and a fierce determination to pursue art. While attending high school full-time, she also enrolled in technical school at night to create a portfolio that earned her a place at the prestigious Moore College of Art and Design. She went on to build a successful career in mechanical engineering drafting, blending artistry and technical skill with grace and intelligence.

Lisa's proudest role, however, was as a mother to her three children: Sean, Lisa Marie, and Timothy. She was endlessly supportive, fiercely protective, and always present—with a phone call (or five), a homemade meal, or a shoulder to lean on. Together with her beloved husband, Patrick J. Flaherty, she built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave everything she had to make sure they felt cared for, seen, and safe.

A charismatic, strong-willed woman, Lisa found joy in the everyday: reading novels, solving crossword puzzles, cooking from the heart, and playing cards with family. Her greatest delight in recent years was becoming "Lala" to her cherished granddaughter, Lucy. Together, they shared countless laughs, cuddles, and hours watching Little House on the Prairie—a bond as sweet as it was unbreakable.

Lisa is survived by her husband Patrick, her children Sean, Lisa Marie, and Timothy, her granddaughter Lucy, and her siblings Raymond, Robert, Pamela, Matthew, and Michelle. She will be deeply missed and remembered for her sharp wit, vibrant spirit, and the deep love she poured into everyone she held dear.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at a later date.
