Louise DeStefano, 93, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday April 27, 2022, after suffering a hip fracture and contracting Covid-19.
Born December 21, 1928 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of Frank and Eleanor Subolesky.
Louise grew up in Minersville PA, and worked in retail until she married her husband John, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. They moved to Pittsburgh, then Philadelphia, and finally settled in Lansdale. An extraordinary person of strength and love, she lived a full life raising her children and volunteering. She loved spending time with her family, traveling and working in her garden. She always made friends wherever she went.
In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by her children; Joanne Reiley (Tom) of Quakertown, David DeStefano (Lee) of Bethany Beach, and Kathy O'Mara (James) of Lansdale. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to call after 10:30am on May 17th at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale Pa 19446. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30am.
It is being respectfully requested that all those in attendance to kindly wear a mask for everyone's safety.
Interment will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a later date.
