Lynn E. Richardson, 61, of North Wales, PA and Brooklyn NY, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at her parents home. She was born November 4, 1963 and was the daughter of Phyllis (Bloom) Richardson the late George Richardson.
Lynn graduated from North Penn High School. She attended and graduated with a B.A. in Theatre from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. She earned a second B.A. in International Communications from the American University of Paris in France.
Throughout her life, Lynn found a great sense of purpose from her work. She was employed as a communications director for The Public Art Fund of New York and a recruiter and graduate admissions counselor for the American University of Paris. In addition, she was a major gift officer for the Friends of the High-Line (a raised railroad in Manhattan that has been turned into a park), and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of New York.
She was a member of the Team in Training Running Group where she also became a mentor and trainer for new runners. She poured hours into introducing and coaching non-athletes to find the joy in completing half and full marathons.
Lynn will be remembered as a devoted daughter, sister and aunt who was independent, generous in spirit, and always able to make friends wherever she went. Her nephews Logan and Gavin meant the world to her. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved Blue Heeler Piper as well, whom she loved to take on walks.
In addition to her mother, Lynn is survived by her brother, Paul Richardson; and her two nephews, Logan and Gavin. Her Aunt Lois Bloom, cousins Suzanne and Lisa and Donald, as well as second cousins Nick, Matt, and David also survive her.
In lieu of flowers, Lynn would like those interested to help fund a bench in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY that will have a plaque in her name. To donate please go to https://donate.prospectpark.org/fundraiser/6343836
