M. Patricia Faikish

Patti Faikish, of Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 78 years old.

She and her husband, John F. Faikish, celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on October 12, 2025.

Born Mary Patricia Lavery on September 2, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, Patti was the daughter of the late James F. and Mary Elizabeth (McKinney) Lavery.

Patti graduated from West Catholic for Girls in 1965. She worked at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as a histologic technician before taking on the best job of being a mother to her four boys alongside her husband, John.

A dedicated "swim parent" since 1980, Patti loved watching her boys compete in swimming and water polo. She cherished getaways in Wildwood, NJ, with her extended family, valued her time spent with friends on Conway Place, and looked forward to the Moore family reunions.

With her competitive Irish spirit, Patti never met a board or card game she didn't like, especially her dominance of Mahjong. She was a big fan of Perry Mason, Downton Abbey, Pride & Prejudice, and John Denver. She was known for her detailed storytelling, giving the best hugs, and the ability to make anyone feel special when she talked to you. And hands down, Patti could cook the best chicken cutlets and lasagna around.

Patti will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family. She could always be found supporting her sons in the pool stands, on the sidelines, or in the auditorium. Even as they became coaches, she was still there cheering them on. And Mom-Mom was her grandchildren's number one fan, always proudly supporting them in all of their endeavors, even during her illness.

In addition to her husband, John, Patti is survived by her four sons: Brian J. Faikish (Mary) of Lansdale; Kevin M. Faikish (Jennifer) of Schwenksville; Jeffrey D. Faikish (Jordan) of Lansdale; and Jonathan P. Faikish (Anne) of Lansdale; her 13 grandchildren: Sean, Ryan, Aidan, Cole, Madeline, Jakob, Chase, Daniel, Brendan, Carter, Quinn, Finley, and Aurora Faikish; and two step-grandchildren: Cameron and Brennan Wehr. She is also survived by her brother, James F. Lavery, Jr., and his wife, Mary; her beloved sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joanne (Faikish) and Harold Snell; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The Faikish Family would like to extend their gratitude to Patti's hospice nurses for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends may call between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2025 at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA, 19446, followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.
