Margaret C. LaCorte, 89, of Lansdale, died Tuesday, September 29, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony LaCorte, who died June 2, 2000.
Born November 4, 1936 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Merriman) Toal.
Mrs. LaCorte was employed as an office administrator for many years, retiring from Montgomery Township Public Works. Previously, she was employed with Numonics Corporation and Gentrak.
Margaret was a longtime, dedicated parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lansdale, where she was active with the Holy Hour of Adoration. Upon moving to the Willows, she became an active resident and served on the Resident Council.
Survivors include her children, Margaret “Peg” Ziegler (Randy) of Bozeman, MT, Kathleen D. LaCorte of Lansdale, Karen P. LaCorte of North Wales, and Anthony F. LaCorte (Jeannie) of Plymouth Meeting; and three grandchildren, Nathan, Anthony, and John.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. October 13, 2026 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Margaret’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Willows of Living Branches Benevolent Fund, 2343 Bethlehem Pike, Hatfield, PA 19440.
