Margaret Poirier

Margaret Poirier, 74, of North Wales, died Sunday, February 15, 2026.  She was the beloved wife of R. John Poirier, her husband of 50 years.

Born July 19, 1951 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Braksator) Miller.

Peg was a longtime, dedicated member of Pleasantville UCC, Chalfont.  She loved caring for her family and will be remembered for her cooking and sewing.  Earlier in life, she worked with her husband at their business, Linco Printing.  Later, she was employed as a Police Matron with Upper Gwynedd Police Department.

Peg was a life member of the Upper Gwynedd Fire Company as well as the United Bowmen of Philadelphia.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Michael J. Poirier (Mary) of Telford, Christine C. Hartman (Kyle) of Chalfont, and Matthew J. Poirier of North Wales; three grandchildren, Colin, Kayla, and Catherine; a step-grandson, Anthony; and her brother, George Miller (Evelyn) of Hilltown.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Pleasantville UCC, 3424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, PA 18914 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
