Marilyn G. Alderfer

Marilyn G. Alderfer, 89, of Lansdale, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026. She was the devoted wife to the late Richard A. Alderfer.

Born September 28, 1936 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter to the late Robert and Marie (Sohn) Gentry.

Marilyn was a member of Central Schwenkfelder Church in Lansdale and the former Lansdale Schwenkfelder Church. She found much peace being outside, working in her garden. She also enjoyed the quiet hobbies of playing card games and reading fiction novels. Also, Marilyn has long been a member of the Audubon Society, reflecting her love of birds and nature.

Surviving are her children Cynthia L. Fleck, (William), Jeffrey S. Alderfer, and Bruce S. Alderfer (Susan); her granddaughter Chelsea G. Alderfer; and her sister, Beverly Perkins.

Services and interment are private.
