Marjorie C. Long, 84, of Quakertown and formerly of Harleysville, died Thursday, June 25, 2015.
Born February 6, 1931 in Gwynedd, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Doris (Ray) Constable.
Mrs. Long graduated from the former Ambler High School with the Class of 1949. She was employed as an EKG technician with Grand View Hospital for many years and, more recently, as a dietician with Meadowood Retirement Community.
Marjorie was a member of Lansdale Presbyterian Church and enjoyed volunteering as an adult companion with Montgomery County Family Services. She will be remembered for her unfailing dedication to her family.
Survivors include her children, James B. Long (Susan) of Jenkintown, Jeffrey C. Long of Stamford, CT, Gregory D. Long (Marion) of Germany, Glenn D. Long (Xiao Dong Wang) of Glenside, Pamela J. Long (Steven) of Fraser, CO, and Patricia M. Coyle (Douglas) of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, David Constable (Mickey) of North Wales, and Joan Constable of Lansdale.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, North Wales.
