Marvin E. Chilton, 82, of Springhouse Estates, Ambler, died Thursday, January 16, 2014. He was the loving husband of Liisa (Savolainen) Chilton. They recently celebrated 55 years of a wonderful marriage.
Marvin was born on April 28, 1931 in High Point, NC. and was the son of the late Herbert and Zola (Jackson) Chilton.
He graduated with a Master's Degree in Electrical engineering, and went on to work for Ford Motor Company, Lansdale Plant, along with various other locations within the company as an electrical engineer.
Along with his wife he is survived by a son, Mark T., and his wife Karen Chilton of Maple Glenn, and a sister, Iris Ward of NC.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
