Mary T. Borkowski

Mary T. Borkowski, 84, of Lansdale, died Wednesday, November 19, 2025 surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of Edward F. Borkowski, Sr., her husband of nearly 63 years.

Born April 19, 1941 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Marvel) Pomrink.

Mrs. Borkowski was employed as a civilian executive assistant with the United States Navy for many years.  She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lansdale, for 54 years.  Her hobbies included gardening, birding, reading, history, classical music, and the Philadelphia Phillies.  Above all else, she will be remembered for her dedication to her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Mary Colleen Grucella (Robert) of Sellersville, Edward F. Borkowski, Jr. (Barbara Taylor) of Doylestown, and Thomas A. Borkowski of Norristown; five grandchildren, Colleen Tate (Ayinde), Robert Jason Grucella, Braden Borkowski, Lucas Borkowski, and Harper Borkowski; two great-grandchildren, Vera and Kendrick Tate; and three siblings, Rita Greaves, Thomas Pomrink, and John Pomrink.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jason T. Borkowski; and two brothers, Harry Pomrink and Robert Pomrink.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
