Mary Jane Kratz

Mary Jane Kratz, 84, of Lansdale, died Tuesday, February 17, 2026.  She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence S. Kratz, Jr., who died November 18, 1999.

Born April 16, 1941 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Edith (Hackman) Ziegler.

Mrs. Kratz was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church, Telford, and, more recently, Salem United Methodist Church, Shoemakersville.  She was employed with the Gwynedd Company, Lansdale, beginning in 1980, retiring in 2019.

Earlier in life, Mary Jane was active with the Hi-BA Christian Group and worked as an Avon Lady for nearly 50 years.  Her hobbies included playing Bingo, shopping, flowers, and watching the Philles and Eagles.

Survivors include her children, Chuck Kratz (Patti) of Pennsburg, and Christine Reddick (Bob) of Lansdale; five grandchildren, Samantha Reddick, Bobby Reddick (Samantha A.), Alyssa Kratz, Zachary Kratz, and Kimmie Kratz; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Olivia; and her sister, Ruth Ann Fly of Telford.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery, North Wales.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Mary Jane's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
