Mary Lou Nice

Mary Lou Nice, 84, of Telford, and formerly of Kulpsville, died Friday, November 15, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of the late John D. Nice, who died April 5, 2011.

Born May 1, 1940 in Lansdale, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Emma (Henning) Bickel.

Mrs. Nice graduated from North Penn High School and Temple University's dental hygienist program.  She was a longtime member of Souderton Mennonite Church.

Mary Lou loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings as well as luncheons with her coworkers, classmates, and sisters-in-law.  She was also an avid Phillies fan.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Nice (Beverly) of Quakertown, Cherie Evans (Sam) of Quakertown, and J. Douglas Nice (Dawn) of Hilton Head, SC; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Bickel.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2024 at Souderton Mennonite Church, 105 West Chestnut Street, Souderton, PA 18964 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be private in the adjacent cemetery.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
