Mehul Patel, Phd

Mehul Patel, PhD, 52, of New Hope, died Monday, January 19, 2026.  He was the beloved husband of Florence Perrin Patel.

Born November 17, 1973 in India, he was the son of Pravinkumar and Deviyani Patel, of North Wales.

Dr. Patel received his PhD in Biochemistry from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  He was employed as Director of Project Management in the pharmaceutical industry with GSK for many years, and, more recently, Regeneron.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Mya Patel of New York City, and Milan Patel of New Hope; his sister, Monali Patel (Vatsal) of Piscataway, NJ; his beloved dog, Koda; and a large extended family.

The Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA.
