Michael J. Farrell, Jr.

Michael J. Farrell Jr., 93, of Lansdale and formerly of Ocean Pines, MD, died Friday, February 14, 2025 at Brittany Pointe Estates. He was the beloved husband of the late Gail Marie Farrell.

Born April 6,1931 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Mary L. (Vanderslice) Farrell.

Mr. Farrell was a US Navy veteran. He graduated from Germantown High School in Philadelphia and received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Temple. He worked for Leeds & Northup for over 40 years. Mr. Farrell  was a very active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale where he was an usher, boy scout leader and active in the church community groups. Michael enjoyed traveling, exploring nature, photography, fishing, baseball, and playing chess. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren crabbing, boating, and riding the waves.

He is survived by his son Michael J. Farrell (Carole),daughters Linda A. Brobst(Curtis), and Patricia E. Farrell, step-daughters Karen E. Gardoski(Ron), Linda Pinney Sapp(Garrett) and step- son Michael S. Pinney(Susan);19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, and his brother Alfred F. Farrell(Grace). He was predeceased by his sisters Patricia Betz(Joseph)and Mary Lou Venezia(Dominic).
