Michael P. Watson

Michael P. Watson, 69, of Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Born May 6, 1951, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James and Rose (DiGregorio) Watson.

Michael graduated from Roman Catholic High School. He furthered his education with a B.S in Psychology followed by a M.S in Chemistry, both from Saint Joseph's University. Michael spent most of his professional career as a Reliability Engineer in the semiconductor industry. He then later retired as a Biotechnology Researcher at FraunhoferUSA. Michael was very career driven and only retired a few years prior to his passing.

Michael was a devoted Catholic and volunteered his time to the Legion of Mary. He was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed the outdoors. In addition, he loved home improvement projects, reading science fiction novels and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

His survivors include four children, Kevin M. Watson (Melissa), Norristown, Jennifer A. Adams (Damon), Sellersville, Michelle E. Watson, East Norriton, and Steven R. Watson (Stephanie), Perkiomenville; four grandchildren, Logan, Matthew, Walter and Jonathan.

Michael's family will receive friends from 10am-11am on Monday, December 14th at St. Helena Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. The funeral mass will follow at 11am. Burial will be private.
