Myeong Sok Hyon

Myeong Sok Hyon, 72, of Hatfield, died Friday, September 11, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Hyun Hyon.

Born March 1, 1954 in South Korea, he was the son of the late Gyu Jin and Eul (Im) Hyon.

Mr. Hyon was a longtime member of Yuong Sang Presybterian Church, Horsham. He owned and operated his construction business, MHX Designs, for many years. He was also an avid gardener.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Yung Mi “Mina” Hyon (Won Song) of Colmar, and Mark H. Hyon (Carol) of Hatfield; three grandchildren, Matthew Hyon, Adam Hyon, and Audrey Song; and two sisters, Soon Ja Hyon of South Korea, and Young Sook Hyon of Upper Darby.

The Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2026 at Yuong Sang Presbyterian Church, 706 Witmer Road, Horsham. Burial will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
