Nadezda "Nadia" Kuzina, 90, of Pennsburg, PA passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2026, surrounded by family.
Born in Cherkasy, Ukraine, she resided most of her life in Riga, Latvia.
She is survived by her daughter, Irina; granddaughter, Inga, wife of Damien; and three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin, and Katherine.
At age 6, at the start of WWII, Axis forces began bombarding her hometown. Her father Nicolai, who stayed back to fight, is MIA. She refuged with her mother, Lidia, to present day Kyrgyzstan, where they resided until the end of the war.
Nadia worked as a chemist/chemical analyst at different manufacturing facilities, until her retirement in 1992. She spent the remainder of her years watching over and taking care of her great grandchildren. In her free time, Nadia enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, knitting, watching old tv shows, and cooking.

The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026 at St. Philip Orthodox Church, 1970 Clearview Road, Souderton, PA. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
