Nancy H. Mcvaugh

Nancy H. McVaugh, 84, of Doylestown, died Friday, November 4, 2022.  She was the wife of the late George S. McVaugh, Jr., who died August 26, 2013.

Born July 26, 1938 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Myrtle (Kline) Haas.

Mrs. McVaugh was employed as a teacher with Souderton Area School District for many years.  She was an active volunteer with the Audubon Society, Pennsylvania Prison Society, and the Women's Humane Society.

Survivors include her son, Scott M. Simmers (Barbara) of Hatfield; and sister-in-law, Norine Haas of Frederick, MD.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Theodore Haas.

Graveside services will be held privately in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
