Olga (Nagy) Fischl, long time resident of Norwalk, CT, died peacefully on March 12, 2025 in North Wales, PA at the age of 101. She was the beloved wife of the late William L. Fischl, and daughter of the late Veronica (Halasi) and Michael Nagy, Sr.
Olga was born and raised in Darien, CT. As the youngest of 7 children, she shared many wonderful stories of growing up with her siblings in their close-knit family. She married Bill in 1947 and they settled in Norwalk where they raised their children. Olga worked as an executive and legal secretary before joining her husband in a family owned screen printing business in 1964. She remained active in that business for over 50 years.
Olga was devoted to her family and always stressed the importance of education. She was a fantastic cook and baker and enjoyed visits to the casinos and racetrack. She was smart, fiercely independent, and amazingly strong.
Olga is survived by her daughter Linda Cohan (David) and her son William Fischl (Linda); 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her six siblings: Michael, Jr., Matilda, Jeanette, Elizabeth, Margaret and Helen.
Graveside services will be held privately in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Arrangements are under the direction of Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, PA.
