Patricia M. Bruce

Patricia M. Bruce, 78, of Lansdale, died Saturday, June 14, 2025.  She was the beloved wife of Gregory O. Bruce, her husband of 53 years.

Born September 12, 1946 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Owen and Patricia (Coakley) Keenan.

Mrs. Bruce was a longtime parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lansdale, and was an active resident of Brittany Pointe Estates, Lansdale.  She worked as a Catholic school teacher for many years, most recently at Lansdale Catholic High School, retiring in 2012.  She was also a dedicated volunteer with the Grampions, a cystic fibrosis support group.

Pat's heart overflowed with love for those dearest to her.  She never missed a chance to share just how proud she was of her children and grandchildren, speaking of them with joy and affection in every conversation.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Julie M. Riley (Matthew) of Phoenixvlle, Robert O. Bruce (Renee) of Schwenksville, and Daniel G. Bruce (Christyna) of Mickleton, NJ; eight grandchildren, Maeve, Emma, Kyle, Tess, Kaitlyn, Claire, Chloe, and Shep; her siblings, Kathy Peck (late James) of Collegeville, James Keenan (Gloria) of Bensalem, and Michael Keenan (Rose) of Bayville, NJ; and a large extended family.

Relatives and friends may call between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale.  A second viewing will begin 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
