Patricia Ann Herwig-Caltabiano

Patricia Ann Herwig-Caltabiano, affectionately known as Pat, passed away suddenly from illness on January 20, 2025, at the age of 65. A deeply spiritual person, Pat believed in the magics of the world and was often found on her porch with a glass of homemade iced tea and a good book, ready to chat with neighbors, friends, family, and passersby.

Pat was a history enthusiast, particularly fond of the Renaissance period and British, Scottish, or European history. Her love for history was matched by her talent in needlework, creating delicate and unique embroidery pieces for loved ones. She cherished family traditions, especially those involving baked goods, 5-foot-long hoagies, and butter.

Known for her strong convictions and unwavering support for friends and family, Pat was unapologetically herself. Her wicked sense of humor and dry wit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Robin (Jason Becker) of Souderton and Samantha Caltabiano (Shane Young) of Sacramento, CA; her granddaughter, Paige Becker; her partner, Randy Garton of Bucks County; her siblings, Joseph Herwig (Beth) of Tunkhannock, Wilbur Herwig, Jr (Sandy) of Hazleton, Elizabeth Giranda (James) of Dushore, Lisa Herwig (Stacy) of SC, and Richard Brown (Stephanie) of Mullica Hill; her former spouse, Michael Caltabiano; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and her beloved six grand dogs.

The family will receive friends starting at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2024, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, with the Celebration of Life Services at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
