Patricia Ellen Hugg

Patricia Ellen MacDonald Hugg. Patty was born on February 19, 1938, in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia to John Arthur MacDonald and Margaret Elizabeth Alexander. She grew up there and on her grandparents' farm in Springville, Nova Scotia and before immigrating to Providence, Rhode Island with her parents in 1950. She graduated from Hope High School in 1955 and Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. Patricia and her husband, William Burnap Hugg, Jr. were married in 1958. Patricia was the mother of four children – Matthew (Carol Dalrymple), Jonathan (Lisa Tysen), Joshua (Ianthina Thung) and Katherine (David Greenebaum), five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a resident of Dresher, Pennsylvania for almost 50 years, and retired from Horsham Clinic after 30 years as a night nurse. Patricia will be remembered by all who knew her for her generosity and only for half-jokingly telling acquaintances to call her "Mrs. Hugg."
