Phyllis M. Burns

Phyllis M. (Kohler) Burns, 82, of Lansdale, wife of the late James L. Burns Jr., passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Doylestown Hospital.

Born in Sharon Hill, PA she was the daughter of the late William H. Kohler and Ida May (Abrams) Flood.

Phyllis enjoyed going to the casinos, the beach and sitting outside, enjoying life with a good beverage. She loved being with her friends and family, and spending time with her grandchildren and being 'Gram' to Gina, Lydia and Michael. In her spare time, she liked playing cards, doing crosswords and watching Jeopardy. Phyllis loved food and music and was always willing to go to a concert or activity with her family.

Surviving are daughters Denise L. Horbach and Sheri L. McKee; step-children Deborah Jansen, wife of Bruce, Bill Interrante, husband of Diane, Donna Solomon, wife of Ronald, and Dawn O'Hara-Hunter, wife of Rick; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Along with her husband and parents she is predeceased by sisters Victoria "Vicki" Powell and Kathleen P. Mattero; and brother William Kohler.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 27, 2026 from 10:00am to 10:45am at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale with a memorial service to begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories.
