Renate Conradi

Renate Conradi, 94, of Lansdale, PA, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born May 23, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Friedrich and Sophie (Kandlehardt) Conradi.

Renate emigrated to the United States in 1949 and lived in New York City for many years before moving to Mercerville, NJ.  She was employed by various insurance companies throughout the years, eventually obtaining her CLU and working for New York Life Insurance Company as the Assistant Vice President in the Pension Department.

Throughout her life, Renate enjoyed listening to her favorite classical music and operas.  She could often be found tending to her garden, where she cared for many beautiful plants.  Renate held a special place in her heart for her feline companions, who offered her unconditional love and support.  She also took great pride in her German heritage, speaking fondly of her family's roots and passing down traditions to her children and grandchildren.

Renate will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that was strong-willed and hard-working.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Hanratty, and husband James; her two grandchildren, Erica, and husband Tom, and J.C., and wife Julie; and her two great-grandchildren, Owen and Luna.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
