Richard S. Chancellor

Richard S. Chancellor, 70, died October 3, 2026. He was the loving husband of Nancy J. (Coulter) Chancellor.

Born July 12, 1956, in Greenwich, CT, he was the son of William and Edith May (Clarkson) Chancellor.

Also surviving are three children, Joanna Weierman (Craig), Hatfield, Daniel Chancellor (Mandie, Orlando, and Samantha Benner (Andrew), Orlando; grandchildren, Cass, Emerson, Elijah and Violet; siblings, Bill Chancellor (Katherine, Oswego, OR and Deb Armor (Dave), Sewell, NJ, along with a cousin, Sandy Clarkson (Lin).

The family will receive friends starting at 2 pm Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, with Celebration of Life Services at 3:00 pm. Burial will be private.

The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions in Rick’s name be made to a local library of their choice.
