Richard T. Guzek

Richard T. Guzek, Sr., 74, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, March 2, 2025.  He was the husband of Joanne (Crane) Guzek.

Born May 26, 1950 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Margaret (Keashen) Guzek.

Mr. Guzek was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served his country honorably during the Vietnam War.  He was employed as a graphic artist for many years, and his hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his children, Joanne M. Kling (Paul) of Hatfield, and Richard Guzek, Jr. of Altoona; four grandchildren, Paul Kling, Sarah Kling (Adam), Emily Kling (Austin), and Ben Guzek; and his sister, Joan M. Guzek of Philadelphia.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Guzek.

Relatives and friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.  Graveside services will held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Mr. Guzek's memory to a veterans' charity of one's choice.
