Richard "Rick" Schatz

Richard “Rick” Schatz, 75, of North Wales, died Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Born January 29, 1951 in Doylestown, he was a son of the late Milton and Mary (Elliott) Schatz.

Rick was employed as a waste water operator with North Wales Boro and, later, the North Wales Water Authority for many years. Earlier in life, he loved stock car racing.

Survivors include his children, Christi L. Schatz of Lansdale, and Todd R. Schatz of North Wales; his grandson, Jason Schatz of Norristown; and his siblings, Dr. Kenneth Schatz (Carol) of Souderton, Kathy Borneman (Tom) of Lansdale, and Laurie Shivley (Larry) of Georgia.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
