Richard Ruszkowski, 74, husband of Diane (Linahan) Ruszkowski, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Chester R. and Rosalyn (Saccente) Ruszkowski.
Richard was a U.S. Air Force veteran who proudly served for five years, helping to train pilots. After his service, he began a long career in the semiconductor industry. His work took him across the country and around the world, and he took great pride in every project he was part of. A dedicated and hardworking man, Richard approached everything with determination and precision. He often chose to fix things himself rather than replace them, always finding a solution with patience and care. He was a perfectionist to a fault, and those who knew him admired his ability to solve any problem.
A lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, he loved watching Steelers games with his family and passing that passion on to his children and grandchildren. Some of his happiest moments were spent with his grandsons Jack and Jake, playing video games late into the night, and meeting his newest grandson, Ashton, who will proudly carry on the family name. Richard cherished road trips with his family and loved listening to Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles.
Richard's greatest joy was his family. He and his wife Diane shared 52 years of marriage, a lifetime of memories, and a love built on loyalty and resilience. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Above all, Richard will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his unwavering work ethic, and the joy he brought to every chapter of their lives.
Surviving with his wife are his children: Allison Lolli, wife of John; Lauren Schlegel, wife of Ryan; and Richard W. Ruszkowski, husband of Sarah. He is also survived by his sister Maryann Ammon, wife of Charles; and his grandchildren Jack Lolli, Jake Lolli, and Ashton Ruszkowski. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Sr. Kathleen Ruszkowski, OSB.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:40 AM at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446, with a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a later date.
