Richard Lee Stuart

Richard Lee Stuart, 89, of Lansdale, passed away on May 13, 2026.

He was born on September 6, 1936 in Norristown, PA to the late Clarence and Anna (Vogel) Stuart.

He served honorably in the National Guard.

He was a member of Christ Covenant Church of Kulpsville. There he helped teach Sunday School and served as the President of the church council. He was a member of the barbershoppers and also enjoyed playing softball.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Stuart; son, Thomas (Linda) Stuart; two daughters, Cheryl Anders and Andrea (Tom) Moore; ten grandchildren, Michael (Raylena), Jeffrey (Victoria), Rebecca, Kevin (Jessyca), Ashley, Kimberly, Caitlyn, Jason, Kyle (Julie), and Jake; twelve great-grandchildren, Everett, Ashton, Mackenzie, David, Jeylena, Kayla, Alex, Olivia, Brayden, Danny, Tyler, and Luke; and two sisters, Elizabeth Bergstresser (Phil) and Linda Ziegler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Ann Gehman.

Friends and family are invited to call beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Christ Covenant Church, 2200 Mainland Road, Harleysville, PA 19438, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to Christ Covenant Church at the above-mentioned address.
